Wave Twisters Concept Art

I commissioned a few months to work up some ideas for a stage play version for the animated hip-hop/DJing/MCing film  "Wave Twisters' 

It was mad idea that I totally feel in love and it gave me the licence to go a bit mad with the it. 

the first design is of a DJ Mecha. I came up with he DJ being in the brain and operating the mecha with turntables and having the mecha itself being made of speakers.

The final two are for concept of what it would look like up on stage. I took a scene from the film and then the other as just a basic layout of the show. 

  

Rollo-Gaia's Guardian.

Hi everyone I haven't posted in so long, sorry about that. Anyway I've working away (STILL) on 'The Big Couch' I've mostly been working on layouts and character designs as you can see from this post.
Rollo is one of the three Guardians of Gaia. I added a quick bit of colour to give you idea of what the colour palette will be like.
Over the next few weeks i will updating the blog more often with character designs, commissions and some prints that I'll be selling at a con coming in February.

Guardian-The Big Couch

This is a character idea for my self-published book "The Big Couch". As by his name he's a Guardian of the world with in the story.

Chaos City Con & The Big Couch

Last Saturday I took part in my first ever con at Chaos City Comics in St Albans. It turned out to be a success and I got positive views about my work (the little I've done). It was great (and honoured) to share with such awesome and talented people such as Marc Laming, Christian Wildgoose, Dave Gibbons and Monty Nero.

And a massive thanks goes out to Chaos City for asking me to participate and they held a great event. When's the next one peeps?????????

On another note, I was busy trying to get some of "The Big Couch" ready for event. Unfortunately I didn't get as much as I wanted done. I only mentioned these pieces/pages for it.

The first is of "Gaia" and "The Electric Priest" who is preaching the words of Gaia.

Bomber WIP

Haven't posted in a while so I thought I would post some progress of my mini 'Bomber' Hopefully I'll have it finish along with some prints for a comic-con next year.

I Introduce to you FAZER!!

After a few months of designing the first of the mech's for my comic 'The BIG Couch' I finally came up with a design that am really happy with. This is 'FAZER' and will feature in the first part of the series. Am highly influence by Neon Genesis, Patlabor, Appleseed and Macross which will show in the mech designs throughout the story.

The BIG Couch page one

This is finally my first page for my comic 'The BIG Couch' 

It's set in a distant future where gods still live and now have become weary of the human race. REASON! The humans lack of commitment and faith of the gods. So the gods take on themselves to annihilate the human by sending 'The Aesir'. The elite guard to the gods. However a scientist has found the body of a mysterious young cyborg women named 'Vigdis' who in time will find out who she really is and hold the humanity's survival in her hands.

As you can see your un of the mill sci-fi story really. Am hoping to collect within a year and I'll keep posting stuff up so stay tuned.

The Big G at the top is the leader of the mecha group 'The Aesir'

and is the killer of worlds. Fazer below is the hand to hand combat expert of the team.

I haven't posted for a while, so I though show some of my progress with my first comic "The Big Couch'
Am really started to see it come to life now (even if it's only page one of colour), but I think am really going to struggle to get it done for 'Though Bubble' this year. I think I'll know by the weekend if I can get it done on time.

MECHALADY

This is a homage to all the mecha shows that I love and the fact I love to draw a few ladies. I just had a quick story idea that all the mecha could only be piloted by ladies and that's it. I might try to expand it at a later date and do my own little story with my own designs. Plus it's been a while since I've done any colur work using photoshop.

The Big Couch Page One Redo/ Restart

I decided to start my comic/graphic novel 'The Big Couch' from scratch. So the story is slighty different and the pages have taken a whole new shape. I will add all the dialogue once the book is finished.
